\n Become an NST Supporter \t\t\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>[vc_column_text]It is, of course, a pleasure that we are gradually obtaining approvals for the careful signposting of the Nord S\u00fcd Trail from the relevant authorities. However, this comes with associated costs that we, as a purely private initiative without financial interest, cannot handle alone. Established hiking and mountain clubs often receive compensation from district governments and municipalities for the maintenance and marking of their hiking trails, a benefit that unfortunately does not apply to us.\r\n\r\nSo, what to do? Sooner or later, we will have to come up with something. Form our own association? Many young people are discouraged by the idea of founding an association, even though they would otherwise be happy to volunteer for a long-distance hiking trail. Perhaps, someday, the NST will be taken over by an association or federation, which would, of course, be the most elegant solution. Until then, we have decided to address the cost issue through crowdfunding. Since the Nord S\u00fcd Trail Initiative is not engaged in commercial activities and has no profit motive, this seems to be the best solution for now. Our crowdfunding projects are not designed for the long term and fully support the specified initiatives.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space]
