The second chorus kicked in, I lifted my head, and saw the monolith: Fuck, all the emotions came flooding in. I must have stood there for five minutes, crying, with my head resting on the border stone, feeling like I was in a movie\u2014except none of it was acted.&#8221;\r\n\r\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]Actually, that says it all, dear Second Half: Congratulations on the first thru-hike of 2024! I think it\u2019s safe to say that your witty and very well-written footprints have impressed us all. You mentioned that you did this hike for all the Trail Angels, for people with mental health issues, and for all the outsiders of society. WOW, that\u2019s truly an admirable reason to accomplish such a feat. In the end, you pushed through on your own and faced all the adversities\u2014something that few can achieve.
