Signposts of the NST
From Werkhausen, a short transitional path leads us to the Natursteig Sieg. At the end of the Westerwaldsteig, we turn right onto an asphalt road. After a few hundred meters, a pleasant forest path begins with partly gravelly ground. In the last kilometers, we encounter a steep section before reaching the Kesselbach and transitioning to the Natursteig Sieg.
This small section, like what it is, is a transitional path. Almost inconspicuously, we transition here for a longer period into the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
