Lübeck – the signposting continues….
The Nord Süd Trail has received official approval for signage in the area around Lübeck. It is gratifying to observe the progress of implementing cautious signage and the increasing positive response from more municipalities and authorities to the initiative. Our thanks go to the Lower Nature Conservation Authority of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck for their support. As an initiative, we intend to carry out the flagging at the beginning of April.
The company Schildertechnik-Paschold has now produced the new signs, totaling 500 pieces. A heartfelt thank you goes, as always, to our numerous supporters who have made this possible through crowdfunding. Since the Nord Süd Trail is not a commercial project, we have to finance everything ourselves. The success of each crowdfunding campaign repeatedly demonstrates how great your interest in a national Thruhiking trail is. Thank you all very much. Without you, not a single NST sign would be hanging.
But the good news doesn’t stop there: Soon we will introduce the next major and important section of the trail. Once again, we will start a crowdfunding campaign for this section, as these signs, similar to those on the Heidschnuckenweg, must adhere to a prescribed design language.
