Official permission for signage on the Veldenz hiking trail

It is with great pleasure that we can announce that we have received official permission for careful trail marking.
The 62.2-kilometer route, recognized as one of the best hiking trails in Europe, runs from Thallichtenberg to Lauterecken through the picturesque Palatinate Uplands.
Anyone familiar with the Palatinate and its idyllic landscapes knows that this region is a true hiker’s paradise. Yet, away from the well-known routes such as the Palatinate Wine Trail, the Palatinate Forest Trail, or the Palatinate Ridgeway, there lies a real hidden gem: the Veldenz Trail.

This trail leads through one of the most beautiful and diverse areas of the Palatinate, offering a perfect blend of nature, culture, and history.
Named after the noble House of Veldenz ,which ruled the region in the Middle Ages, the route connects charming villages and historic sites, while also passing through vineyards and forests.

The trail marking is expected to be completed in the course of 2025, in coordination with the local authorities.
A huge thanks goes to the managers of the Veldenz Trail, the Palatinate Forest Association and Pfalz.Touristik e.V.

We would also like to express our gratitude to our supporters, whose help once again made it possible to produce a large number of new, high-quality trail signs.
