NST’s Half Way Point.

I am very pleased that I was able to officially mount the halfway sign for the NST on October 15, 2020. A big thank you goes to the Trail sponsor of the Natursteig Sieg, the community of Oberottesbach, and of course, @soundso_sandra, who made everything possible. So, a part of the NST is now even “official”.

The “Half Way Point” is located on the Natursteig Sieg, specifically on the Natursteig Sieg – Stage 5: Eitorf to Herchen. The halfway point is a beautiful furnished shelter without a well or water source.

Die Initiative Nord Süd Trail hat sich zu einem ausgedehnten Netzwerk entwickelt, das aus ehrenamtlichen Helfern, erfahrenen Fernwanderern, Wegpaten, Youtubern und Wanderführern besteht. Da wir nicht an einer finanziellen Vermarktung des Weges interessiert sind, liegt das Hauptaugenmerk weiterhin auf der Etablierung des Weges.
