Hikehitcher on the NST 2023

Congratulations, the first thru-hiker of the year 2023 has reached the destination. What an impressive achievement! “Hikehitcher” accomplished this in just 100 hiking days, making him the fastest thru-hiker of the Nord Süd Trail. He was very close to breaking the magical mark of under 100 days. It’s heartening to see that Aicke was a true ambassador for the trail and the entire community. His beautiful and humorous footprints on Find Penguins will surely be missed. It’s remarkable how a single hiker can bring positive energy and joy to the community through his posts. Aicke has undoubtedly left lasting memories and will be remembered as a valuable member of the trail community. We certainly hope to see you again at the next Trail Days. Now, rest well and welcome to the Hall of Fame.
